Adina Foundation

We are over at B-5/306 in Yamuna Vihar, which is part of the Shahdara area in East Delhi. Our office for the Adina Foundation is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It is nice because we see the same faces every day, from the milkman to the kids heading off to school. The office itself is not very large. It’s just a few rooms in a standard building. We have some basic furniture and a lot of files that always seem to be growing. 110053 is our pin code and we have been here for a good amount of time now. East Delhi has a certain energy to it that we really appreciate. It’s busy and a bit chaotic at times, but it feels like home to us. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office chairs. Most of our stuff is second-hand or just stuff we've gathered over the years. We spend our time working on things that matter to the local community. There are no corporate slogans on the walls here. We just have a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up. If you come by B-5/306, you will find us just doing our daily tasks. It’s a very grounded way to work. We like that we are accessible to people in Yamuna Vihar. It’s just a plain, honest space where we try to stay busy and helpful.
