99 Fortune (India) Mills is situated at 8C/2 in the WEA area of Karol Bagh. It’s another one of those busy spots where space is at a premium. We handle things related to the milling industry, and our office is where all the coordination happens. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our floor sometimes because of all the other businesses in the building. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, filing cabinets, and a few old chairs for visitors. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re usually too busy to look at them. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. WEA is a hub for trade, so there’s always someone coming in with a question or a delivery. We have a small team, and we mostly just get on with it without much fuss. The sound of the city is always there, whether it’s the horns from the main road or people shouting in the alleyways. We keep a ledger for the main accounts and use the computer for everything else. It’s not a high-tech operation, but it’s reliable. We’ve been at 8C/2 for a good number of years and know the rhythms of the neighborhood. It’s a standard workplace where we focus on the task at hand and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad.
