We've been here at G-11 Laxmi Appartments in Pinto Vaddo for a while now. Candolim is a busy place, especially during the season, and our spot is tucked away just enough. It's mostly just us handling the travel stuff people need when they visit Goa. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in looking for a way to get around or see the sights. The weather gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the office is a good place to hide from the sun while we sort out bookings. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it's quiet, that’s just how it goes here in Bardez. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand, which helps when someone is lost or needs a driver who won't get stuck in the usual tourist traps. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few desks and a lot of maps and papers. We try to keep things simple because travel shouldn't be a headache. If you're walking past the Appartments, you'll see our sign. We're usually around from morning until the evening, unless we're out helping someone with a car issue or checking on a tour group. Nothing fancy, just a local office doing what we can to help people get from one place to another without too much fuss. We like the neighborhood here in Pinto Vaddo, it feels like home even when the tourists are everywhere and things get a bit loud.
