Patel Metal Works

We have been operating out of Vadfalia Para for quite a long time now. The address is P.B. 33, but most people around here just know where we are in the neighborhood. Our work is all about metal. We spend the day cutting, shaping, and joining different metal pieces for various uses. It is loud, hot work, especially in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is beating down on the roof of the workshop. The shop floor is full of scrap metal and various tools we use to get the job done. We do not really have an office staff; we just handle everything ourselves, from the manufacturing to the billing. If the phone rings, someone usually wipes their hands on a rag before picking it up. It is a very hands-on environment and everyone knows how to use the equipment. We do not use any fancy terms for what we do; we just say we work with metal. There is a certain rhythm to the day, from opening up the shutters in the morning to locking up at night. We have seen the neighborhood change over the decades, but the core of what we do at the metal works remains exactly the same. It is hard work, and your back usually aches by the end of the shift, but there is a satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of metalwork ready to go to a customer. We just keep it simple and keep the hammers moving. It is a local business through and through.
