Urban Curry Private Limited

We are located at House Number 499 in Kanakpur Part-II, which is right near the Nurani Masjid in Silchar. It’s a busy neighborhood in Cachar. Urban Curry Private Limited operates out of a space that stays pretty warm most of the time because of the cooking. You can usually smell the onions and spices from down the street. It’s not a big fancy restaurant; it’s more of a production spot where we get everything ready. The floors are tiled and we spend half our time scrubbing them down. There are big stainless steel pots everywhere and the sound of knives hitting cutting boards is the background music of our day. The staff is mostly local guys from Silchar who know how to cook a proper curry. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on the recipes and the logistics of getting food out. Sometimes the humidity in Assam makes the kitchen feel like a sauna, so we keep the back door open to get a breeze. The neighbors stop by sometimes to chat or ask what we are making. It’s a grounded, local operation. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. The desks are covered in order slips and the kitchen is always humming. It’s just us, doing our thing in this corner of Kanakpur, trying to stay ahead of the daily rush of orders and prep work.
