Radha Store

Radha Store is a small shop located in Madhur Van, right on Sajid Mia Lane off Old Lakshi Pur Road. We are in the Silchar district, and this has been our home for quite a while. It’s a typical neighborhood store where we sell the basics that every house needs. From matches and candles to flour and tea, we try to keep the essentials on the shelves. The shop is on a narrow lane, so it’s mostly just the local people who live within walking distance who come by. We know most of the families around here and what they usually buy every week for their homes. It’s a quiet life, opening the shutters in the morning and closing them once the sun goes down. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but people still manage to come over for their supplies. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us managing the counter and the stock. There’s no fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a fan to keep us cool in the heat. We focus on keeping the prices fair so our neighbors can afford what they need. The local stray dogs sometimes sit under the shade of our porch in the afternoons when it gets too hot. It’s a simple business run by regular people who just want to make a living in Silchar.
