Pprd Foundation

The Pprd Foundation is based in Silchar, specifically in Malugram. We are located in the Mohaprobhu Colony at the home of Smt. Minu Prava Dutta. The zip code is 788002. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty calm compared to the main market area. We chose to work from here because it’s easy for people in the colony to find us. Our setup is very simple. We have a couple of rooms with some tables and cabinets. Most of the people involved in the foundation live nearby in the Cachar district. We don't have a big budget for fancy furniture or office supplies. We use what we have and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s more like a group of neighbors getting together to do some good. We handle a lot of paperwork and sometimes we have small meetings in the living room. The rainy season in Silchar can be tough with the puddles and the humidity, but we still manage to get our work done. We don't go around telling everyone how great we are. We just do the work and let people see it for themselves. If you need us, you just come to the Mohaprobhu Colony and ask for the house. We are usually there from morning until late afternoon. It’s a modest way of doing things, but it suits us just fine. We are just regular people.
