Elite & Unique Foundation

Down in Silchar, in the Ambicapatty area, is where we have set up our foundation. We are located at M Santi Kr Singha’s place in Ranibari. It is a decent spot, though the traffic in Silchar can be a real nightmare during the peak hours. We chose the name Elite & Unique, but don’t let that make you think we are fancy or high-class. We are just regular people from the neighborhood. Most of our time is spent working on very local issues. It is usually a lot of paperwork and phone calls, trying to help people who don't know where to start with their problems. We aren't a big corporation with different departments and bosses. Usually, if you have a question, you just talk to whoever is sitting at the desk at the time. We try to keep everything as straightforward as we can. There is a lot of talking involved in our day-to-day work. We listen to what the neighbors are worried about and see if there is a way the foundation can help. It involves a lot of trial and error. Some projects work out great and others take much longer than we originally thought. We don't have shiny brochures or a big advertising plan. We just have our names and this address. People around here know where to find us. We are just trying to be a useful part of the community. It is honest work, even if it is not always exciting.
