Maltesh Siddu Spices

We are right on the Post Office Road in Byadgi, at number 605. If you know this area, you know it’s famous for its peppers and spices. Maltesh Siddu Spices is a small part of that tradition. Our shop and warehouse aren't very modern. The shelves are old wood, and the floor is concrete. We spend a lot of time sorting through the harvest. The smell of chili is so strong that visitors often sneeze when they first walk in, but we don't even notice it anymore. We are a local bunch. We know the farmers around here and we know which crops are looking good this season. We don't have a website with flashy photos or a social media person. Most of our business happens through word of mouth or people just stopping by the shop. It’s a simple way of living. We weigh everything on old scales and write the totals in a big ledger book. Sometimes the rain leaks through a corner of the roof, so we move the bags around to keep them dry. It’s just a normal day for us. We don't use big words to describe our spices. They are what they are. We just make sure they are cleaned and ready for whoever needs them. It’s a quiet life on Post Office Road, and we like the routine of it. We just keep doing what we've always done.
