M S Shettar Chillies

If you go down near the APMC Yard in Byadagi, you’ll find us at M S Shettar Chillies. We are at door number 4-3-256. Being this close to the yard means we are right in the middle of everything when it comes to the chilli trade. Byadagi is known for its peppers, and we’ve been part of that scene for a long time. The air around here usually has that spicy kick to it, which might make a stranger sneeze, but we are used to it by now. It’s a lot of hard work, moving bags and dealing with the loads that come in. The shop isn't fancy at all. It’s a practical space designed for business, with high ceilings and plenty of room for the stock. We spend most of our time dealing with the arrivals from the yard and talking to the people who come through. The address 4-3-256 is just a spot on the map, but for us, it’s where we spend our whole day. It’s dusty and can get very hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't have any corporate mission or anything like that. We just handle the chillies, keep track of the weights, and make sure the day goes smoothly. People know the Shettar name around here, so we don't need to do much else. It’s honest work in a busy market area where everyone is just trying to earn their way.
