Typhon Construction is based in Dumridumri, which is a small place over in Buxar. Kashinath Kumar is the person in charge here. We don’t have a fancy office building or a fleet of branded trucks. We just work out of our local spot and take on the jobs that come our way. Buxar can be a tough place to work during the peak of summer because the heat is really something else. We try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before it gets too hot to move. Our focus is just on the day-to-day tasks like getting the foundation poured or making sure the bricks are laid correctly. We don’t use any marketing talk or big words. It’s just simple building work. Kashinath spends a lot of time on his bike going from one site to another to check on progress. We have a small group of regulars who work with us, and we all know each other well. In a place like Dumridumri, your reputation is basically just what you’ve built recently. If a wall is crooked, everyone knows about it. So we just try to do a solid job and keep our heads down. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't have time for anything else but the work in front of us. Most of our time is spent just making sure the materials are there and the crew is working.
