SHANVI SHREE NIDHI LIMITED

We’ve been running Shanvi Shree Nidhi Limited out of Rambagh here in Buxar for a bit now. Our office is set up right at Raghvendra Pratap Singh’s place. It’s a quiet spot, really. Mostly we just sit around the desk and handle the paperwork for folks in the neighborhood who want to set aside some money or get a small loan without a big fuss. You’ll usually find a couple of us drinking tea and going over the ledger books. Buxar can get pretty dusty and hot, so we keep the fans going all day. People just walk in when they need something, no need for fancy appointments. We aren't a big bank with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a room with some chairs and a computer that acts up sometimes. Most of the people who come by are folks we see at the market anyway. We know their names and they know ours. It feels more like helping out neighbors than doing high-level finance. We try to keep things simple because that’s what people around here prefer. If the power goes out, we just open the windows and keep writing in the registers. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local community here in Rambagh. Nothing flashy, just a place to keep things moving for the local crowd. It is just the way we like to do things around here.
