Nature24 Organic Farms Producer Company Limited is a group we started to help the farmers in this part of Bihar. Living in a village like Basaon Khurd means you are always tied to the land. We decided to go the organic route because we saw how the soil was changing over the years. It’s not a fancy operation. We don't have a big office building; we just use a room in the house to store our records and meet up. Most of the work happens in the fields anyway. We talk about things like cow dung manure and natural pest control instead of expensive chemicals. It’s a lot of physical labor, and things don't always grow perfectly. Sometimes a crop fails, and we have to start over. We are just a bunch of local people trying to make farming sustainable again. We don't have any marketing experts. If we need to tell people about what we do, we just talk to them at the local market or in the village square. We are honest about the struggles of organic farming. It’s a long-term thing, and we are just taking it one day at a time here in Buxar. It feels good to be working with nature rather than against it.
