MAHILAJIVIKA NIDHI LIMITED

Our office is in Buxar, specifically near the Golambar area. We operate out of a space provided by Birendra Kumar Gupta. Buxar is a place with a lot of history, but we are just a small part of its present day. The name Mahilajivika suggests a focus on women’s livelihoods, and that is a big part of why we are set up here. We aren't a fancy corporate office. It is a very practical, down-to-earth setup. We have a few desks and some old cupboards for our files. People in the urban Buxar area know us because we are right there in the mix of things. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just talk to the people who walk in. It is a bit noisy outside sometimes with the traffic and the cows, but we get our work done regardless. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in Bihar. We just want to be a reliable place for the people in our neighborhood. We keep our records tidy and our conversations honest. No corporate jargon or empty promises here. Just a group of people trying to make things work in a small office. We have been here for a bit now and we have gotten used to the daily routine of the Golambar area. It is a good community to be a part of. We like the way things are moving along slowly but surely.
