We are located in Ward Number 1, right in the Charitra Ban area of Buxar Urban. Specifically, we are at the Maharshi Vishwamitra Ashram, at Smt Kanchan Devi’s place. It’s a well-known spot in Buxar, so most people don't have any trouble finding us. Being in the 802101 area means we get a lot of local foot traffic. Our office is a simple one. We don't really go for a lot of flash or fancy decorations. We just have what we need to help our members with their savings and credit needs. It’s a practical setup. Most of us who work here are from Buxar ourselves, so we understand the local way of doing things. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain how things work in plain English or the local language. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small office when several people show up at once, but we just bring in more chairs. It’s a friendly environment. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our books to make sure everything is in order. We know how important every rupee is to our members. We’re just here to provide a service that makes sense for the people living around the Ashram. It’s steady, honest work that we’ve been doing for some time now in Bihar.
