CHHOTI CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED

Chhoti Construction is just our small company based out of Kanjharua Tola. It's run through Sheshnath Singh’s place. We mostly focus on work within the Dumraon block. It started because there was a need for someone local to handle the smaller building projects in the village. We aren't a big city firm with shiny trucks. Most of our tools stay in the shed until a job comes up in the panchayat. Living and working in Kanjharua means everyone knows who we are, so we can't really afford to do a bad job. If a wall is crooked, we hear about it at the tea shop the next morning. It's just a few of us working together. We deal with the usual stuff like mixing cement, hauling bricks, and making sure the foundations are level. Sometimes the weather in Bihar makes it tough, especially during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. We just wait it out and get back to it when the sun comes up. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to get the right materials on time, but we make do with what we have. We decided to register as a private limited company to keep things proper for the government paperwork. It doesn't change how we work on the ground though. We’re still just local guys putting in the hours. If you’re around Dumraon, you’ve probably seen us around working on something for the neighbors.
