Ahilya Gramin Livelihood Foundation

Ahilya Gramin Livelihood Foundation is based in Buxar. Our office is on Jail Road in the Charitra Ban area. It is the urban part of Buxar, so it is a bit more crowded than the outlying villages. We are located care of Manoj Kumar Singh. If you know the 802101 area, you probably know where Jail Road is. It is a busy street with people coming and going all day long. We have a small space there where we manage everything for the foundation. It is not a very big office. Just a couple of rooms with some tables and chairs. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy decorations. It is just a place to work. Being in Charitra Ban is convenient because we are close to the local government offices and the market. We can get things done without having to travel too far across town. The foundation has been at this spot for some time now. People in the neighborhood recognize Manoj Kumar Singh’s place. We don't spend money on big advertising. We just do our work and let people find us when they need to. Sometimes the traffic on Jail Road gets a bit loud, but we are used to it by now. It is part of being in an urban area like Buxar. We are happy with our little corner of the city.
