Jay Matadi Photo Studio

We are located at Post Sarola, which is a quiet spot compared to the big cities. Jay Matadi Photo Studio is where we do all our work. It is a small shop with a backdrop and some lights. We take photos for IDs, weddings, and local events. Sarola is the kind of place where everyone knows each other, so we see a lot of familiar faces. Sometimes kids come in for school pictures and they cannot sit still. It is funny to watch. Our cameras are our most important tools, and we spend time cleaning the lenses and checking the batteries. The shop has a few framed photos on the walls to show what we do. We do not have a big staff, just us taking care of everything from clicking the pictures to printing them. In the evenings, people often stop by just to chat for a bit. The lighting in the studio can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day. We have a small computer for editing, though we try to keep things looking natural. It gets busy during the wedding season, and we end up traveling to different nearby villages. Life here at Post Sarola moves at its own pace. We enjoy being part of the community and capturing the moments that people want to remember. It is honest work and we have been doing it for years. We usually close up early on Sundays to spend time with family. It is just a small local studio.
