Royal Hardware & Paints is right in the heart of the city, near the City Kotwali. If you know where the Jama Masjid is, you can find us very easily since we are just a short walk from there. It is a very old and busy part of town. The streets are narrow and always full of people, motorcycles, and carts. It can be a bit overwhelming if you're not used to the crowd, but we love the energy of this place. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware and paint cans. There isn't a lot of room to move around, but we know where everything is. People come to us because we've been in this location for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. The bells from the nearby masjid and the noise from the market are the background sounds of our workday. Sometimes it gets so busy we can barely hear ourselves talk, but that’s just how it goes here. We help anyone who walks in, whether they need a single nail or a whole gallon of primer. It’s a humble place, and we don't try to dress it up. It’s just a hardware and paint store in a very historic part of the city.
