Rawtole Textiles Private Limited is tucked away at 211/1-2, Budhwara BM 1/4 in Burhanpur. This part of town is always crowded, and you can hear the sounds of the street from inside the shop all day long. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age, but it’s sturdy. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of fabric and boxes ready for shipping. We don't have a lot of space for anything other than the essentials. Burhanpur is a place with a lot of history in the cloth trade, and we’re just a small part of that tradition. We don't bother with fancy displays or big advertisements because people usually find us through word of mouth. My desk is usually a mess of invoices and fabric scraps, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise that we’ve all learned to ignore. We just focus on the daily tasks, like checking the weave of a new batch or making sure the payments are processed. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we drink a lot of water and try to keep moving. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we’re just running a textile business the way it’s always been done around here. It’s honest, tiring work, but it keeps us going.
