Moniza Agro

Our place, Moniza Agro, is located right along the NH-2 Durga Pur Express Way. We are in the Nabagram area, which is a busy spot because of all the traffic coming off the highway at all hours. You can hear the roar of the trucks all day long, which you eventually just get used to after a while. We deal with agricultural stuff, so there is always a bit of dirt on the floor and the smell of grain or fertilizer in the air depending on the season. It is a large enough space because we need to store supplies for the local farmers who stop by. Often, they pull their tractors or small trucks right up to the front to load things up. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and the crops because that’s what matters most to the people around here. If the monsoon is late, everyone is worried, and if it’s a good harvest, the mood is much better. My family has been involved in this kind of work for a long time. The office is just a simple desk with a heavy ledger and an old computer that takes forever to start up. We don't bother with fancy decorations because they would just get dusty anyway from the road. It’s honest work, and we enjoy being the place where the highway meets the fields of Nabagram. It’s a lot of lifting and moving bags, but the people who stop in make it worth it.
