B. K. Hardware

Our shop, B. K. Hardware, is tucked away in the village of Panchghara. We are part of the Katwa area, which is in the Purba Burdwan district. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of our days are spent talking to local folks who need something for their homes or farms. We have a lot of different bits and pieces piled up in the shop, from nails to bigger tools. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we generally know where everything is. The post office and the police station at Katwa aren't too far off, so we are well-connected to the main parts of the district. Living and working in a village like Panchghara means you know your neighbors pretty well. We don't have any fancy websites or big billboards. People just know we are here when they need something for a repair or a project. Sometimes the deliveries take a little longer to reach us out here, but we make do. We’ve been doing this for a while and have settled into a nice routine. It’s not a fast-paced life, but there is always plenty to do. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait to see who comes by. It’s a simple way to run a business.
