If you are traveling along the Kota Road in Digod, you will find us in the Tathed area. It is a straightforward kind of shop where we keep the essentials that people in the village and nearby areas need. We have things like pulses, sugar, and various snacks that kids like to buy after their school finishes. The road outside is usually busy with trucks and cars passing by, which brings in some travelers now and then who are looking for a quick cold drink or a packet of biscuits. We start our day early to catch the morning crowd before they head out to the fields or to the city for their work. It is mostly just us here, moving boxes around and making sure nothing on the shelf is past its date. The building is old but it stays relatively cool in the heat of the afternoon. We don't have any fancy signs or big flashing lights outside. Most of our customers are our neighbors who have been coming here for years. We know what they usually want even before they ask for it. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet and watch the traffic go by on the main road. It is a quiet life in Digod, and we are happy to be a part of it. We just keep the shop open and wait for the next person to walk in with their shopping list.
