Khajak Kirana Store

Khajak Kirana Store is a small spot you will find near the Post Office in Bundi. We are right on Kota Road, which is one of those streets that always has something going on. Being near the Sbi Bank means there is a lot of foot traffic, people coming and going to finish their errands. We open up the shop early because that is when the first customers start showing up for their daily bits and pieces. We have shelves filled with all the usual stuff like rice, sugar, and soap. It’s not a supermarket, just a regular kirana store where things are stacked up wherever they will fit. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific item if it’s been tucked behind a new box of tea. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the regulars who have been coming here for years. The floor is a bit uneven and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it’s on high, but it keeps the place cool enough in the Bundi heat. We don't have any fancy marketing or big posters in the window. We just put the goods on the shelf and wait for someone to need them. Kota Road can be dusty when the wind picks up, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s just a small shop where we try to keep things simple and helpful for the local folks. We’ve been here a long time and the address is easy enough for people to find.
