Acc Cement Factory

If you go down past the post office in Lakheri, you’ll find the Acc Cement Factory over at Bautam Leelbal. It’s a big spot, and you can’t really miss it because of all the activity. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The post office is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The roads around here see a lot of heavy vehicles, so they can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. Inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of machinery and the guys talking over the noise. It’s a dusty job, that’s for sure. We spend our shifts making sure the batches are right and the machines are running like they should. It gets pretty warm near the equipment. We take our breaks in the shade when we can find it. Lakheri is a quiet enough place otherwise, but this corner stays busy. Everyone around here knows someone who works or worked at the factory at some point. It’s just a regular part of the town. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a factory where we work hard and keep things moving out the door. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a rush. We just focus on the task in front of us and get it done without making a fuss about it.
