Tale Clinic

We’ve been here at the Shriniwasa Complex on Athwadi Bazar Road in Shegaon for a while now. It’s a busy spot especially on market days when the street gets really crowded with people coming in from the nearby villages. Our clinic isn’t very big but we make do with what we have. Most mornings start with unlocking the front gate and checking if the cleaning was done right the night before. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere so we are constantly wiping down the desks and chairs. There are a few of us working here and we mostly just handle whatever walks through the door. It could be someone with a fever or just a neighbor stopping by to ask a quick question. We don't have fancy leather sofas or anything like that in the waiting area just some simple plastic chairs that have seen better days. The light in the hallway flickers a bit if the monsoon rains are heavy but we’ve gotten used to it by now. People in Shegaon know where to find us if they need something. We try to keep things organized but on Mondays it usually gets a bit chaotic with the crowd from the bazar. We just take one person at a time and try to get through the day without too much trouble. It’s just how things go around here and we’ve become part of the local routine on this road.
