Our place is right on Mehkar Road, really close to the Kingaon Raja bus stop. Because of the buses, there's always someone walking in. It gets quite hectic when a bus pulls in and people have a few minutes to grab something quickly. We try to keep everything from flour to cleaning supplies in stock. The shelves are tall and sometimes we have to use a stool to reach the top. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually see one of us at the register. We don't have those fancy automated systems you see in the city. We just write things down or use the old machine. The floor gets muddy when it rains because of the foot traffic from the street. We’ve lived in Kingaon Raja for years, so we know the stories of most people who stop by. It’s more than just selling things; it’s about being part of the daily commute for so many folks. Sometimes we run out of milk early, and people have to wait for the next delivery truck. That’s just life here. We keep the fans running all day to deal with the heat. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and the neighbors. We’re just here doing our bit every day. It's a lot of work but seeing the same people every morning makes it worth the effort.
