Sanap Children Hospital Mehkar M.S.

Sanap Children Hospital is located right here in Mehkar. It is a place specifically for the kids in our town and the villages nearby. We know how it is when a child gets sick and the whole house gets worried. That is why we are here at Mehkar. The building is simple and we have some colorful things on the walls to make the children feel a little less scared when they come in. It is often quite loud with babies crying or toddlers running around the waiting area but that is just how a children's place is. We spend our time checking heights and weights and looking at sore throats. Most of the parents who come here are our neighbors or people we see at the market in Mehkar. We don't have a big fancy office with assistants for everything. It is just us doing the work of making sure the little ones get better. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of flu going around the schools. We keep the medicine cabinets stocked and the records in order. It is a lot of responsibility but we have been doing it for years now. People in Mehkar know they can just bring their kids over when something isn't right. It is a local hospital for local families and we just take it one day at a time. It is just a part of the town.
