Sairam Dal Mil

Out here on Ajegaon Road, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Sairam Dal Mil is located right in Shengaon Taluka. It’s a rural spot, so you mostly see tractors and trucks passing by on the road. The mill has been part of this landscape for a bit. We spend our days dealing with the crops and the machines. Shengaon is the kind of place where everyone knows which road leads where. If you take the Ajegaon Road, you’ll eventually run into us. The air usually smells like dust and grain, which is normal for a dal mill. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, and we usually take a break when the sun is at its peak. There’s no fancy lobby or air conditioning here. We just have the shed and the equipment. It’s honest work. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out. That’s life in the Taluka. Sairam Dal Mil isn't about big marketing or anything; we just process what comes in. The walls are a bit dusty from the flour, and the floor is always covered in bits of husk. We just keep the machines running as long as there is work to do. It’s a simple setup on Ajegaon Road, and we like it that way. We don't need much else to get through the day, just the grain and some good weather to keep the trucks moving on the road.
