Rachana Construction Co

Our small company, Rachana Construction Co, is out in Khamgaon in the Buldhana district. You can find us on Tank Road, right at Arihant Amrut Bagh. It’s a bit different from working in a huge city like Pune or Mumbai. Things move a little slower here, but the work is just as hard. The sun gets really hot in this part of Maharashtra, so we try to get our site visits done early in the morning before it becomes unbearable. Our office is a simple room where we keep our tools and our paperwork. There are usually a few bags of cement sitting in the corner and some levels leaning against the wall. We mostly work with local people who want to build a house or a small shop. We know most of our neighbors and the people who walk past our door every day. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people seeing what we are building on the next street over. Sometimes we run into problems with getting the right materials delivered to Khamgaon on time, so we have to be a bit flexible. It’s just a few of us trying to do a good job with the stones and mortar we have. We like being part of the community here and seeing the town grow bit by bit over the years.
