Orange Couty

Out here in Asalgaon, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities like Mumbai or Pune. We are Orange Couty, and our main spot is right here at the Post Asalgaon in the Jalgaon Jamod area. It’s deep in the Buldana district of Maharashtra. If you are looking for us, you have to follow the road past the main market and look for our building. It’s a pretty simple setup, nothing too fancy to look at. We mostly deal with the locals and people from the surrounding villages. The PIN is 443402, and that’s where all our mail goes. In the summers, it gets really hot, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze that comes through the trees. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us making sure the daily tasks are handled properly. We don't spend money on big signs or shiny office furniture because that’s not really who we are. We'd rather just do the work and go home to our families at the end of the day. Life in this part of Maharashtra is honest and practical, and we try to run our office the same way. There's always someone coming by to ask a question or drop something off. We just handle it and keep moving. It’s not a complicated life, but it suits us just fine being here in the heart of the district.
