New Jalaram Loha Bhandar

If you are driving down Khandala Road in Chikhali, you will probably see New Jalaram Loha Bhandar. We are right in front of the Anuradha Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. We handle a lot of iron and metal stuff here. Loha is heavy and it can be dangerous if you aren't careful, so we have to be mindful when we are moving things around. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There’s always the sound of metal clanging against metal, which can get a bit loud during the middle of the day. We get a lot of local guys coming in from the farms or the small workshops nearby. They usually need something specific, and we spend time looking through the stacks to find the right piece. Sometimes we have to cut things to size, which takes a bit of effort. Chikhali is a decent place to work, and being across from the bank means there’s always people moving about. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It gets dusty, and in the summer, the iron gets so hot you can barely touch it without gloves. We just take it one day at a time, serving the people who stop by and making sure we have enough stock for the next week and nothing gets lost.
