Jalgaon Jamod Urban Nidhi Limited is our company, and you can find us in the Buldhana district. We are located right across from the Nandura Urban Bank in Jalgaon Jamod. Kushalchand Chhajed is the one who looks after the place. The office is in a busy little area where people are always coming and going from the bank or the nearby shops. It’s a traditional setup with wooden counters and a few benches for people to sit on while they wait. We don't have any of those modern decorations or bright lights. It’s a bit dim inside, but it stays cool even when the sun is hitting the street hard. We mainly deal with small deposits and credit for the farmers and small-scale traders around here. A lot of our work involves writing in passbooks and checking the ledgers. We don't rely on much technology, just the basics to keep things moving. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We know our members well, and we often hear about their crops or their children's weddings. It’s a tight-knit community in Jalgaon Jamod, and our office is just one part of it. We aren't looking to expand or become a big name. We are just happy being the local spot where people feel comfortable bringing their savings. It’s a slow and steady kind of life, and we like it that way. No corporate talk, just everyday business between neighbors.
