Guru Mauli Clinic

We are located on Bhendwal Khadki Road, near the Buldana H O area. Our clinic is a small, local spot that has been part of the community for quite some time. It’s a simple building with a white front and a small sign above the door. Most days, I’m here from early morning until the sun goes down. The waiting room is small and often filled with people from the nearby villages who have traveled in for a checkup. We deal with basic health issues, prescribing medicine and giving advice on how to stay well. It’s not a polished medical center; it’s a place where people come for practical help. The chairs are old wooden ones, and the fan on the ceiling squeaks a little bit when it’s on high. I’ve known many of my patients since they were kids, and now they bring their own children in. Buldana is a nice place to work, even if the roads get a bit rough during the monsoon. We don’t use any fancy computer programs to track things; a large ledger book on my desk holds all the records. It’s a slow-paced kind of place, which suits the way we do things here. If someone can’t pay right away, we usually figure something out. It’s more about helping the neighborhood than anything else. We’re just a regular clinic on a regular road, doing what we can for the people around us. Every evening we lock up and head home to start again tomorrow.
