Our little office for Adspot Publicity (Opc) Private Limited is situated in Buldana, right near the St-Jo-Sef English School. If you know the 82/83 area, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a one-person company setup technically, but there’s usually a couple of us around working on publicity stuff. Buldana is the kind of place where everyone sort of knows what’s going on, so being near a school means there's always activity around. We handle a lot of local stuff, from small flyers to bigger publicity needs. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. It gets quite hot here in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always going full speed. We don't have a big fancy sign or a glass front. Most people just find us by word of mouth or because they saw our address near the school. It’s a very practical way to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out meeting people around town. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and chat until it comes back on. It’s a slow pace compared to Pune or Mumbai, but we like it that way. We just focus on getting the ads and publicity pieces right for the people who come to us. It’s simple, honest work in a small town that we know well.
