Shri Gajanan Maharaj Ambulance Service

We are based out of Anjanwel in the Prashant Society area of Buldhana. Specifically, we are near Pound Road, which is a pretty well-known landmark for people living around here. Running an ambulance service means we are always on standby, waiting for the phone to ring at odd hours. It is not a desk job where you sit around and drink tea all day. We have to keep the vehicles ready, check the fuel, and make sure the oxygen tanks are full and ready for use. The roads in Buldhana can be a bit rough in places, especially during the monsoon season, so we have to know all the shortcuts to get around the traffic or the flooded spots. It is a small operation, just a few drivers and assistants who know the town inside out. We don't have a big office building; we mostly operate from the society address. Our focus is just getting people to the hospital when they can't get there themselves in a car. It is practical work. We don't have a marketing budget or fancy brochures to hand out. Most people just have our number saved in their phone in case of an emergency. Every day is different; some days are quiet and we just maintain the equipment, while other days we are out on the road for hours. We are just local people helping out the folks in this part of Buldhana. It is honest work and we take it seriously.
