Shree Darshan Clinic

Nandura is a busy little place and being on the Bhaji Market Road means there is always something going on outside our door. The noise starts pretty early when the vendors bring in the vegetables. You can hear them shouting the prices and the rickshaws honking to get through the narrow street. Our clinic is right in the middle of all that. People often come in after they finish their morning shopping, carrying bags of spinach or potatoes. I guess it works out well for them. The floor gets a bit muddy during the monsoon because of the foot traffic from the market, but we try to sweep it out when there’s a break. It is a simple setup with a desk and some chairs. We know most of the people around here by name now. Sometimes it’s just a quick check-up or someone asking for advice on a cough. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. The smell of the market is always there, sometimes it’s fresh coriander and other times it’s just the smell of the crowd. We’ve been at this spot for a while and don't plan on moving. It’s a practical location for everyone living in this part of town. We just open the shutters, set things up, and wait for the first person to walk in.
