Mahavir Mix Ice Cream

I have been running this little ice cream spot here in Nandura for a while now. Most people know us because we are right at Shivaji Chowk, just on the corner of Khamgaon Road. It gets really dusty out there during the day, so having a cold place to sit for five minutes makes a difference for the folks passing through. I usually open up in the morning and stay until the last bus or when the crowd thins out at night. We don't do anything too fancy. It is just the mix ice cream that people like. I try to keep the chairs clean, but with the wind blowing off the road, it is a constant job. Sometimes my nephew helps me behind the counter when school is out. We see the same faces every day, mostly workers from nearby or families taking a walk after dinner. It is a simple setup with a couple of freezers and a sign that’s seen better days. I don't see the point in big advertisements because everyone around here already knows where to find a cup of something cold. Dealing with the electricity cuts can be a headache, but we manage. Most days are just about keeping the machines running and making sure the flavors are ready. It is not a big corporate thing, just a local shop where you can get a scoop and move on with your day.
