Badshah Traders

Our yard is over in the Bruel Compound, right on Cotton Market Road. Being near the National Highway 53 means we see a lot of trucks coming through Khamgaon every day. It is a noisy place to work, with all the horns and engines, but it is good for business. We deal with a lot of different traders and farmers coming in from the district. The dust from the cotton market nearby sometimes blows over and settles on everything. We have a small office in the compound where we keep our records. It is usually hot, so we have a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise but do not do much else. I started working here after my father retired. It is a lot of manual work, checking the loads and making sure the counts are right. We are not some big international company. We are just local people who know the roads and the suppliers around here. Sometimes the shipments are late, or the weather makes the roads messy, and we have to deal with those headaches as they come. We take things one day at a time. If you are driving down the highway and need to talk about supplies, you can just pull in. There is usually someone around to help, unless we have all gone for tea. It is a straightforward way to work and we like being right where the action is.
