You can find us in Dharpa Chuharpur, which is in the Bulandshahr district. Our full name is VYDS Ayurved Medical College & PLRD Hospital, and we have both the teaching side and the patient care side happening here. The 203131 area is a bit tucked away, which is actually good for a hospital. We have people coming in for Ayurvedic treatments and students learning the old ways of medicine. It’s a busy place with a lot of different smells, mostly from the herbs and medicines we use. The building is large and has different wings for the college and the hospital. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it is sturdy and serves the people of Bulandshahr well. We have a lot of movement in the corridors, from nurses to young students carrying heavy textbooks. Sometimes it feels a bit chaotic, especially during the morning OPD hours. Dharpa Chuharpur is a quiet village area, so the college really stands out. We have a garden where we grow some of what we need. It’s a hands-on place. There is always someone asking for directions or a student looking for a professor. We just keep things running as best as we can. It’s a practical environment where people come to get better or to learn how to heal others.
