Snk Medical College & Rkms Charitable Hospital

We’ve been here at Pisawa Road for a while now. Running Snk Medical College & Rkms Charitable Hospital is a lot of work every single day. There’s always someone coming through the doors in Chandaus looking for help. It’s a mix of teaching the younger ones in the medical college part and then actually dealing with the patients in the charitable hospital. Chandaus is a quiet enough place but the road gets busy with people coming from all over. We try to keep things moving as much as we can. It’s not fancy here. The floors get scuffed and the waiting room is usually full by mid-morning. People know us by now. We don't have all the shiny gadgets some big city hospitals have, but we do what we can with what's available. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain makes Pisawa Road a bit of a mess to travel on, but we stay open regardless. It's just how it is. Being part of a charitable setup means there’s a lot of paperwork too. Most days are long and we don’t always get a proper lunch break. The students are learning, which is good for the future, I guess. We see everything from minor stuff to people who really need a lot of care. It’s just us here on Pisawa Road, doing the job every day. No big speeches or anything. Just the hospital and the college trying to keep things running for the people in Chandaus. It’s what we do.
