You can find Ashoka Machine Tools Private Limited at the UPSIDC Industrial Area in Sikandraba. We actually take up three units here—H3, H3A, and H4. It sounds like a lot of space, and it is, but once you put in the lathes and the milling machines, it gets crowded pretty fast. We’ve been in Sikandraba for years. The industrial area has changed a lot since we first moved into H3. Back then, there weren't as many neighbors. Now, it's a full house. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to talk loud when you're on the shop floor. We keep the doors open mostly to get a bit of a breeze through the place. It's not a fancy operation. We have grease on our hands and metal shavings on our boots most days. That's just the nature of making machine tools. We don't have a marketing department; we just make sure the machines we build actually work. People find us because they know the UPSIDC area well. We’ve had some of the same guys working the floor for over a decade. They know the equipment better than anyone. It’s a bit of a walk from one end of the units to the other, but it keeps us moving. We’re just here doing the work every day. The units are old, but the tools we produce are solid. That is how we have always done things.
