Shivam Hospital

Shivam Hospital is right on Durga Mandir Road, which is a very busy part of the neighborhood. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the music during festival times. It’s a lively area to work in. We have been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of people come and go. It’s a plain brick and concrete structure, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we keep things organized the best we can. There are always people waiting on the wooden benches in the hallway. We don’t spend much time on decorations because we are too busy seeing patients. The staff here is used to the chaos of the street outside. We get a lot of locals who walk over because they live just a few blocks away. It’s the kind of place where you can just show up and someone will talk to you. We deal with regular sickness and injuries every day. The morning shift starts early, usually before the traffic really picks up. We make sure the rooms are tidy and the medicine is stocked. It isn't a fancy corporate hospital with a website for everything. It’s just us on Durga Mandir Road, doing what needs to be done. We have some plants in the corner that don't get much sun, but they survive. That’s pretty much how it is here. Nothing more, nothing less.
