Nagina Engineering

Nagina Engineering is located right at Nehrupur Chungi on the G. T Road in Khurja, Bulandshar. Being right on the main road like this means we see a lot of traffic and a good amount of dust every day. It’s a traditional engineering shop, so there’s always the sound of metal being worked on and tools clanging around. We do a lot of repairs and custom engineering work for the people who live and work around here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or metal shavings from the lathes. That’s just part of the daily job for us. We have been here for many years, and the building shows its age a little bit. We don’t care much for how the place looks on the outside as long as the machines inside are working the way they should. The heat in Bulandshar can be really tough in the middle of the year, but we just keep the shutters up and keep at it. We deal with all sorts of mechanical problems that people bring to us. Someone might bring in a part from a tractor or a machine from a factory, and we have to figure out how to fix it. It's very practical work. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We drink tea from the stall nearby and just keep working hard.
