Mk Polymers

You can find us down on Syana Road in Hirapur. We call ourselves Mk Polymers and we’ve been at this location for a good while. The main thing we do here is process plastics. It’s a bit of a messy business, to be honest. We get a lot of raw material delivered and then we have to sort through it all. It takes a lot of manual effort before it even hits the machines. The yard is usually piled high with bags and scrap. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. My brother and I manage the daily stuff. We have a small crew helping with the melting and the pelleting process. The noise from the grinders is something you just get used to after a week or two. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when a big order comes in. We don't have a big fancy sign or a polished reception area. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or people picking up materials. Hirapur is a quiet place for the most part, and we like being tucked away on Syana Road. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait around, but that’s part of the deal. We just focus on getting the quality of the plastic right so the next factory can use it. It’s a practical way to make a living and we don't need much more than that.
