Fancy Bone China Emporium

If you’re driving down G.T. Road and hit the Munda Khera Crossing, that’s where you’ll find us. Fancy Bone China Emporium is right there on the corner. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks and cars zooming by, so there’s always a bit of grit on the windows that we have to wipe off. Inside, it’s a whole different world. We have shelves filled with plates, cups, and all sorts of ceramic things that could break if you even look at them wrong. We spend half our day unwrapping boxes and the other half wrapping them back up for customers. It’s a bit of a nervous job, honestly, because nobody wants to hear that sound of something shattering on the floor. The light comes in really well through the front glass in the mornings, making the china look bright. We’ve been at this crossing for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk by every day. Sometimes people just stop in to get out of the heat for a minute while they wait for their bus. We don’t mind. It’s a local place. The back room is a bit of a mess with all the straw and bubble wrap, but we know where everything is. We just try to keep the stock fresh and make sure nobody bumps into the displays. It’s a simple way to make a living.
