Jageshwari Electrical Works

Our shop is on Chandpur Road, right by the railway crossing. You can hear the trains passing by every few hours, and the whole place vibrates a little bit when the heavy ones go through. It’s a familiar sound to us now. Jageshwari Electrical Works is mostly a place where we fix motors, wind coils, and deal with all sorts of wiring. There are copper wires and old fans scattered around the workbench. It’s a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. We’ve been at this location for years. People from the nearby villages and the town come here when their pumps or motors stop working. Sometimes the crossing gate stays down for a long time, so we get people stopping by just to wait out the traffic. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench outside the door. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have our work lamps for the small stuff. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know the trade well. We don't use much technology for the repairs; it's all hand tools and testing equipment that’s seen better days but still works fine. It’s just a local electrical shop doing what needs to be done to keep things running for everyone. We stay busy with the repairs and try to get things back to people quickly.
