Bargad Libraries And Welfare Foundation

Our foundation is over in Bulandshahr at house number 259 in Amrit Vihar, which is in the Panni Nagar area. The Bargad Libraries And Welfare Foundation is really just a bunch of us who think that having books around and looking after the community is important. We have set up in the 203002 area, and it is a pretty quiet residential spot for the most part. We don't have a giant library building yet; it is more about the welfare work and small-scale reading initiatives we can manage from our base in Amrit Vihar. Most days involve sorting through papers or talking to people from Panni Nagar about what they need. We aren't trying to be some massive national organization. We are quite happy staying right here in Bulandshahr and working with the people we know. The house at 259 is where everything happens. It is a bit cluttered with books and files, but that is just how we like it. It feels real and honest. We don't use a lot of fancy language to describe what we do. We just want to make sure there is some support for welfare in our town. If you are in the neighborhood, you might see us out and about, just doing the normal things that keep a small foundation going. It’s simple, local work for the people living in this part of Uttar Pradesh, and we do it without any corporate airs.
