Alrehman Exports

Our office is right across from Hotel Surya in Sayajigunj, just near the Raj Trade Centre. If you know Avas Vikas Colony, you’ve probably walked past Alrehman Exports without even noticing. It’s a busy area, lots of traffic and people heading to the hotels. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking shipments. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially when the trucks are supposed to arrive and they’re stuck in traffic. We handle all sorts of goods for export, so there’s always a lot of paperwork on the desks. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and everyone gets a bit grumpy. The office isn't huge, but we make it work with the space we have. We’ve been in Sayajigunj for a good bit of time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a practical location because we are close to everything we need. Most of the day is just checking lists and making sure the crates are packed right. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure things get from one place to another. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we’re used to it. The lights stay on late some nights. Just a bunch of us working through the piles of documents and making sure nothing gets lost. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We just take it one day at a time.
