Foji Building Material

Our place is out near Pandrawal Doraha in Tehsil Shikarpur. We’re located right near Sym Inter Collage, so we get a lot of students walking past the yard every morning. It’s a busy little corner of the district. We keep a lot of building materials piled up here, from bricks to sand and whatever else the local guys need for their houses. The yard is usually quite a mess of activity, with tractors coming in and out and guys loading up trailers by hand. It’s honest work, and it gets dusty when the wind picks up across the road. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The office is just a simple room where we keep the books and take phone calls. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds. We don’t bother with fancy displays or anything. If you need something for a wall or a floor, you just come in and ask. We know the local roads like the back of our hand because we’re always sending stuff out to nearby villages. The weather can be tough, especially when it rains and the ground turns to thick mud, but that’s part of the building trade. We just keep the gates open and wait for the next customer to roll in with their tractor. It’s a basic operation and we like it that way because it keeps things clear for everyone.
